Taylor DePauw is from Tonka Bay, MN. She received her bachelors at UW-Stout in 2015 and joined the Modiano lab right after graduation in February of 2016.
Taylor has been focused on the Shine On project to develop an early detection test for hemangiosarcoma, and recently she has started working on a few osteosarcoma projects. In particular she is exploring the combination of oncolytic virotherapy and dual immune checkpoint blockade for metastatic osteosarcoma.
Taylor enjoys being outside as much as possible, going on hikes with her dog Echo, going on long bike rides, and spending time by one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes. When the weather isn’t great, she likes to work on one of her many knitting projects.
Taylor has a 3-year-old Pomsky rescue dog named Echo.
